Matt Hubing’s Portfolio

This poster was made for a fictional robot exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. The robot model is fully posable and has incredible detail, especially in the hands. My intention was to show an artificial intelligence contemplating the “self” and the meaning of its existence. The environment was inspired by the last chapter of 2001: A Space Odyssey where Bowman must evolve beyond his physical body. This poster was given a $50 award at Valparaiso University’s Brauer Museum during its exhibition. Built with Carrara 3D.
